sanjo 2
I went for a walk in the nearby ricefields on Saturday night between the rainfalls and saw the first fireflies of the season. They are just so cool I really like seeing them fly around.
muikabochi 208
Quite a few of them out around here. Along with the frogs crossing the road when it rains madness.

bobby12 0
Is that the real poster? Design is a bit crappy. They have even used a japanese font (mincho?) for the English wording, the first sign of a localization newbie

Ezorisu 0
Quite. Watch the animated version. Do not watch the live-action version with Matsushima Nanako - it's like "revisionist history".
thursday 1
is there a live version? can't imagine anything bettering this masterpiece.
Ezorisu 0
Think it was 2005 or so. The story is done from the perspective of the Aunt who takes the kids in. Said aunt is played by the unfortunately popular bad actress, Matsushima Nanako. In and of itself, I guess it isn't really terrible, and it is interesting that they took a different slant on the story. I am probably just being negative because I seriously dislike Matsushima. Definitely wasn't as good as say "Satokibi Batake no Uta", but it followed a similar general story outline with characters in the present recollecting nostalgically on occurrences in the historical past.
