its-a-clock 0
They have opened their Yellow Course it seems, but does that Japanese on the first page of their site mean that there are no snobo restrictions this season?
Siren 0
Yes, the end of snobo 'licensing system'
rach 1
Cool. Er. Too far away. Enjoy, Tokyo people.
Ocean11 0
That's interesting. Echo Valley, one of my old 'locals' in Suwa used to have a 'snowboard license' that was linked to Marunuma's. Echo Valley was a pretty crap place all round. Then they got rid of their license a couple of years ago and turned into a good place - they answer email, have an opt-in emailing list, and just sent me discount coupons by mail. They also have some decent boader toys there now. If I were still in Suwa, I would probably have got their season pass. I wonder if Marunuma will go the same way (now that they have stopped their 'communication' between skiers and snowboarders, heheh).
Siren 0
Two of the runs are still 'skiers only' according to the website. I never understand the logic of that. Keeping old guards happy?
Fattwins 0
No doubt the mogul course. You dont have to say a mogul course is skier only, 95% of snowboarders wont touch the run anyways. Its like rabbit at happo basically a skier only but its open to all, but You dont call it skier only. you almost never see a boarder on it except on a powder morning for about an hour. Open it up and let us all play.
SKI 15
Might go next weekend, especially if there is a snowfall before then. Fingers crossed.
