TheOrange 0
Anyone else really like onsen manju? Love 'em. Best ones I had were from some place in Gunma, can't remember the name but they were cho-yummy.

mina2 6
Might that be Tasuke manju TheOrange, on the way up from Numata to Naeba on Route 17 (or indeed by Numata IC). They are fantastic.
Ezorisu 0
I've had them in various places, but I can't remember where... Kita-Yuzawa-onsen, Tokachigawa-onsen, ??? Yes - very yummy. They always have a few for a snack with tea in your room when you arrive in hopes that you'll go downstairs to the gift shop and buy a bunch to take home. Mine usually don't make it home! BagOfCrisps 24
What exactly is manju - is it like that steamed cake with anko bean paste inside? Very strange first time I had one but I quite like them actually.

Ezorisu 0
Mushrooms too. That would really be good - I wonder why nobody has tried that. Basically nikuman with steak filling. Mmm... I'm getting hungry now!
