Well, there used to be so I hear. Now, you just get lonely on some days.

 

I spent the morning at the Minami resort up the road from where I live. (Photos and vid report to follow).

The resorts round here are generally like that - ie empty on weekdays. I always wonder how they can keep open when I'm there with about 5 other guests + 10 patrol.

It was very busy this weekend in Marunama ski resort, although the lift lines where short, only one or two mins wait, so although lots of people not to bad as far as skiing went.

Getting out of the carpark was simple, not traffic when we left, but got stuck in some once along the road a little way.

Yeah you should, it's also cheap, parking is free, food is not excellent, but definately better than other resorts ive been too.

 

Good choice of slopes from beginner to expert levels, and if you got kids plenty for them to do too.

It's open until sometime in May.
