oblivion 5
Yes, but as I said does anyone actually use them?
fjef 0
I do - f9, f10, f11, for Expose in OS X and f12 to bring up dashboard. I probably use f11 most often. ...and with windoze, f8 (or f5 or whatever depending on your computer) is how you get into the bios to fix things and reinstall when you try repairing and find out it doesn't work... Tesselator 0
Yup.. use them all the time.. Actually my F9 key is worn completely off. That and my "D" key. F9 is preview render in Lightwave and D is strife right in Quake and other FPS multiplayer games. My F1 and F2 are starting to look a little faint as well. They're for things like centering the 3D view also in LightWave3D.
me jane 0
In Windows, F7 changes Hiragana to Katakana、F8 to Romaji, F9 to that funny spaced out Romaji and F5 brings up a box of kanji options.

me jane 0
They are all explained here. I can't be bothered to memorise them all though & just use the mouse & toolbars. Might feel differently about it if I could touch type.
