She had just come out from a session of chemotherapy, had enough pills in her to rattle, and enough pins in her legs to set off the metal detectors. We took a holiday together in Italy. We spent a week walking in ancient Rome (above). That was her last visit to her spiritual home. Pearl went through terrible times, but never lost the spirit and infectious giggle of a teenage girl. Despite her health problems, she had the strength to support me through bad times. We both knew this was coming, but I'm sorely greiving right now. Link to post Share on other sites
