big-will 7
Any chance you think? Such a huge amount of cash and effort goes into stuff like this. On the news last night they even showed some wasteland that had a big 2016 Olympic site sign on it. Does Tokyo actually want them?
cal 6
Beijing > London > Tokyo? Don't think so, (unless they have lots of nice goodies for the people who decide).
2pints-mate 0
Wouldn't it be horribly hot at the time of the summer Olympics?
nzlegend 1
well the USA got Atlanta a mere 12 years after LA had them. No African nation bar perhaps Sth Africa has the financial clout to host them. South America? if they sort their problems out, perhaps Argentina or Brazil could do it. since 1960 it has gone. Europe Asia Central America Europe Nth America Europe Nth America Asia Europe Nth America Oceania Europe next Asia then Europe. Either North America or Asia will get the next one, probably Nth America. New York will likely have another crack at it and I think they will get it. 2020 Ollies for Asia, rising giant India perhaps 2024 for Europe again.

BagOfCrisps 24
These hot cities give the UK team a good excuse - "it was too hot". I was surprised when they used that for Germany in the World Cup. Early summer was pretty hot though this year.
