veronica 2
So, how does it work then? We had a late start to the season. So does that mean that the chances are it will finish early? Even if it snows like an "average" year now, the base is lower than usual so will disappear quicker than usual? Any words of wisdom? (Of course I know it will depend on how much snow falls, but generally speaking - know what I mean? )
mattlucas 0
It works whichever way mother nature wants it to work. But really forgetting last year. Is this year really a late year. Some resorts are sporting near 300 cm bases. Who knows what the future will hold.
veronica 2
Less than usual for this time of year at most places, for sure.

Fattwins 0
We will see its starting to snow more now just no early season base.
rach 1
Thats reassuring Fattwins. Can we blame you if it don't happen?
miteyak 0
This year's shaping up to be a bumper season, just three weeks later than the usual weather patterns, just like the rainy season stayed late, and autumn started late. Whether spring will also come late remains to be seen. From today, the heavy forecasts should bring levels well up to the monthly averages, anyway. West Japan folks, should be a fantastic weekend. Kansai folks, Skijam should be up to four meters by the weekend!

DumbStick 13
It would be good. Bad start transforms itself into a bumper season.
