  4. I had loads of problems with my feet last season, as i used to when playing football, high arches. I've recently had some custom footbeds made in TSA, UK, used them indoors at MK, and i imediately felt how much more support i got from them. I reckon they will be spot on for this season.
  5. I'm booked into Tabi Tabi aswell, i get there 20th January. I'm in a constant daydream at the moment, i just want to get out there !!

  7. I'll be in Thailand from 29th Dec till 14th Jan, then Japan for 3/4 months then Sydney for a month and finishing up in California. No work - just play.

  12. Hello all, I'm trying to find information on buying an Early Bird Season Lift Pass for Hakuba Goryu/Hakuba 47. I know you can buy one for a discounted price of 48,000 Yen before 31st October and i have had a look on both their websites but i'm having difficulty finding out if i can buy one from the UK. Does anyone know if you can do it ? Has anyone bought a season pass from abroad ? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Cheers wallas
  13. Hello Gordon, i'm doing a season in Japan this winter. I've booked my first months digs in Hakuba, see how i get on there either stay or move onto another resort. I've got 3/4 months in Japan before moving onto Australia, US then hame.
  14. Hello Emilia, I'll be doing my first season this year in Japan, been snowboarding for 2 yrs now and at 33 decided to take six months off from work to travel around. I'll be in Hakuba 20th January for a month, maybe longer then i'll be heading up to Hokkaido. I'm sure you'll have a ball. Maybe we'll catch up somewhere. Have fun.
  15. I just want to snowboard, have a good time, eat drink, meet some new people etc. Too long in one place ? I intend on travelling to a few resorts. Where else would you recommend ?
  16. Cheers, i'm flying with Singapore and Air New Zealand, i have an allowance of 2 bags weighing 23kgs each. Not bad.
  17. Just an update on my plans. My flights are booked, leave on 28th Dec fly to Bangkok spend just over 2 weeks in Thailand, fly to Tokyo 4 nights in Andon Ryokan then onto Hakuba, need to sort my digs out. I've got 3 months in Japan to travel around, Hakuba probably up to Niseko, Kyoto etc then i fly to Sydney spend some time in Oz then to LA then home. Six months in all and my lass is not coming with me !! The countdown has begun, it can't come soon enough.
  18. I arrive into Tokyo 14th January spend 4 nights there then go to Hakuba for a month, i will go to Niseko but i don't have any definate plans when i will go. Are you just there for the week ? Have you booked anything yet ?
