I'm back in the U.S. and the people here are all strange. They speak with a funny accent and everyone is so serious. But anyway, northern New England (New Hampshire/Vermont) got a slight dusting yesterday - so let's hope that this means a good season on the east coast (and the far east coast for my SJ brothers and sisters holding it down in Japan). I hope my shipment arrives here before winter, my board is packed somewhere with my dishes and lamps. I told them to wrap the board extra carefully, but don't worry too much about the dishes - we only care about the important stuff right? I've ne

Today's my last day in Japan and I just wanted to say bye to all my friends, foes, and jokers here on the forums. I've had a great time chatting with you all and even got a chance to meet a few of you. I'll be checking in from time to time and i'll try and post some pics from the east coast. Have fun, stay safe, and JIB every chance you get!

yea. The wierd thing is that I never slammed it. My boots are well fitted and i've been using them for a couple of seasons. But my foot moves forward and my big toe keeps pushing against the front of the boot. By the end of the day, it gets to be pretty painful...but this is the first time that it turned black. Luckily I didn't loose the nail so it hasn't been painful at all - just ugly. -

here we go again - I think I have seen this thread created like 6 times. It always ends up in a niseko vs. hakuba pissing contest. Fortunately, i'm pissing blood at the moment, so i have you all beat -

Boots - last season I ended up with a BLACK NAIL from my current boots. It still hasn't grown completely back yet - I guess it takes about a full year for your entire toe nail to grow from tip to tip. -
I don't know soubs....sometimes - when i'm on the 'throne' and the pipes are backed up a bit - I'm pushing to release the strain - some times small little ones some out in a contolled manner, othertimes it's an anal explosion and I need to clean the ceiling afterward. Let's hope there's nothing like that in store for us....

I prefer many small ones, but i worry that these are pre-shocks...they don't seem to be behaving like aftershocks - I think we have yet to see the main quake

ANOTHER one...and a 5.1 - I wonder if these are pre-shocks or aftershocks, the Great Kanto Quake of 2007 is coming?
