I agree. The one time we did it last year was an awesome day. Best start those Japanese lessons -
Wow what a great 1st day. Ended up staying in Nagano last night getting in around midnight thanks to Jetstar. Was going to do a day trip from there but couldnt be assed getting up at 6am so slept in and getting out to Myoko around 9am. After all the posts about crowds etc I thought it was going to a typical Niseko day. I guess its all relative. If you surf every day at an unknown wave, 5 guys in the water is a crowd but if you surf Superbank its empty. Hoenstly the longest lift line I was in today was 7 minutes and the Kanko Gondy under 10. LOTS of pow to be had although it was a little wet. T

Sorry Ippy will most likely head to Togari as based on what I've read including your recent TR its relatively easy to get to for 1st lifts as a train arrives at 8:05 and I'll get a cab to Pegasus (?), its cheap (with passport - thanks) and hopefully by the time the crowds get really thick my lack of fitness and not ridden for a year will be really showing up. If I can get a couple hours in I'll still be stoked as it would be a good warm up. About lunch time I'll head back to Nagano, grab my gear and have a lesiurely trip to Myoko aiming for 1st lifts Sunday . That way will get

Wow!!!! Wishing I was arriving a day ealier! Have fun!!!! -
Thanks Ippy!!!!! If I head that way it looks like there is a 6:58 train from Nagano that arrives 8.06am. Will grab a taxi if no shuttle, have a coffee and get 1st lifts/tracks Based on my current fitness I reckon I'll be done about 11 Starting to suffer paralysis through over analysis re what to do Saturady - SOOOO many choices.

Thanks for the updated thread Ippy. Sorry for daft question but the shuttle timetable pic, is that showing the 1st shuttle bus from the train station being at 930am?

You must get so frustrated not being able to see where you are going each time you turn Same reaction as Ippy at that 20sec mark. -
Thanks BM and Ipyy, bummer there isnt an earlier one. Any ideas how I can find shuttle times from Shinshu Nakano station as Plan B will be train and shuttle to be there early as will still need to get to Myoko late that day and my unfit legs prob wont cope with a full 1st day ? Thanks again for the help!

Ippy thanks SO much for all that info. For Saturady Im thinking Ryuoo as Tangram/Madarao should be achiveable from Myoko using the train or on the last day on the way to Hakuba. Has anyone got access to Ryuoo bus time tables, either direct from Nagano or the nearest stations? Googled it but cant seem to find it Thanks again Ippy!
