  1. Communications Computer Systems Technician. Currently...computer helpdesk. I about a month, I move over to SMS and I'll install patches on all the machines on the network, remotely.
  2. Fussa City, Tokyo. Living on Yokota kichi. I get the benefit of only paying roughly 200 yen for 1 gallon of gas (about 4 litres). w00t w00t!!!
  3. I'm fine with the man-made snow, but they need to cover the mountain with it. Plus all other surrounding mountains, just cause I want to see them covered in snow.
  4. It's not so much where I eat, it's how much I need to eat to get full. That's where the price difference is. Here in Japan, I can roll to Yoshinoya and buy three 300 yen beef bowls and be good. Rice is very filling. In England, even going to McDonalds, I need 2 combo meals to fill me up. Course, I'd just hit some Asian place anyways. In London, across the 4 lane street from Kings Cross Station, there's a really good little Asian restuarant. There's also a really good Sushi place in Piccadilly Circus. I'd give you directions from the McDonalds, but there's like 15 in that area.
  5. It all depends where I'm living. Here in Tokyo, Japan, I'm paying around 600 - 1000 yen for a meal. In Pyongtaek City, S.Korea, I was paying around 17,000 won for a meal. In Newmarket, England, around 15 quid for a meal. Oddly enough, the most expensive city in the world and it has the cheapest meals.
  6. I wouldn't eat dog. Mainly cause I like dogs. Now I'd eat the hell out of a cat.
  7. Thanks for the list. Now I need to get someone to translate it for me. Course, I can just roll to Ochyanomizu-Jinbocho and look around.
  8. Screw iPod, iTunes, and all that other crap that they charge a nice expensive price for. Archos. No nonsense player. Simply plug in, then drag and drop. I don't care about anything else. It's an mp3 player, it doesn't need FM/AM, calendar, special software, look good, anything. It just needs to play mp3s. I don't need docking stations, I don't need docking speakers, etc. I simply drop music onto it, put it on shuffle, and put it in my pocket. It never comes out of my pocket until I get home again. Once home, I charge it. I listen to my mp3s from my computer or my home entertainment c
  9. Was a skier as a kid, but when I got into HS, I moved to snowboarding. As for JET, those are those bachelor degree carrying ppl who decided to come teach English in Japan.
  10. The postage is the envelope with the 80 yen stamp. They also said the stickers will be waterproof and snowproof. Edit: Oh wait...you didn't click the link and read up did ya? Click the link.
  11. Is it cool if we just put decal letters onto our board saying "www.snowjapan.com" I'm not one for the square sticker. I want just a line along the edge of my board.
  12. I didn't know exactly where to put this, but I figured this would be something nice for the site. With snow season coming up, ppl are always looking to get new gear. Be it boards, clothing, skis, etc. Well, the problem for me, is finding places to actually buy this equipment. It's easy to find places to enjoy the slopes, but not so much for the equipment. So, if possible, have a sticky or even an actual tab on the site for stores. I've only found Alpen Sports near Tokorozawa along 5.
  13. While it isn't bad, I think I'll just get some letter decal and slap that on my board instead.
  14. Been during day, but never night. I'm sure it'd be loads of fun. Just remember to take snow shoes with you.
  15. I have a Mira J Turbo. Very small car. Everything gets throw into the back seats. Only driver and 1 passenger. My 151 board fits perfectly.
  16. Uhhh....what are these stickers? Just a www.snowjapan.com sticker or something? I figure just a plain jane sticker (just lettering) at around 5 cm x 25 cm. Something I could put along the edge of my board and not covering the board's graphics.
  17. Crap...I voted wrong. Anyways...2 weekends a month for 2 days each. Dec - Apr.
  18. Is this place still around? I went to their site, but it seems pretty low tech for an indoor ski resort. They also didn't have a map to it's location. Just background, prices, and that's it. I mainly wanted to go here, to teach my friend how to snowboard, before spending the $$ to roll to Naeba or other locations. It's best to pick a nice cheap location for him to learn, cause I don't want to blow $200 (Shinkansen and lift tickets) on Naeba and spend hours teaching him. I also wanted to wait until mid-to-late Dec to hit the slopes. I want to get some new boots and new pants. My
