People have a different sense of security with both an anonymous name and a self sense of authority with no real source on "claims posted" Consequences of posting in print or other media can have far greater consequences. For example would the owner of a known

  7. Where are you going to ride would be my first question, Australia or Japan? At 85 kgs for Japan I would recommend 164cms, further a Banana for you at this stage is all hype designed for landing jibs and giving critical edge control your getting a rally car when you probably only need a taxi.A k2 equiv of the eldorado, burton custom 164 or 159 wide would probably be more up your alley. Now watch the lib tech rep jump out on me!!

  12. Someone had to do it apparantly more powderboards over 160cms than any other shop in the country. Up until now its been a nightmare getting large sizes in town.
  13. BootsStiffness Base Plates. When Andreas Wiig visited Hokaido last year (and he has an oldschool background beginning with Hard boots) he used Vans Stiff/semi stiff freeriding boots. They were stiff. He noticed I was using slighter softer boots but had Palmer base plates. He told me he has used the Palmer plates when riding slopestyle as it gives him more concise edge control at critical moments.Faaark he flew. It does create added stress on the board though so be warned. I understand that Burton have put out base plates this season aswell.(Elevators I think they are called.) Smi
  14. This is a classic example of honouring the old guard because of age irrespective of what conditions. What Alpinist club would lead a bunch of senior members(Non beaconed) into the bottom of a travine, to dig a snow pit after it has dumped extra ordinarily(first dump) onto a relatively hot surface for two days. Who takes responsibilty for this team expedition this is a warning to those seeking guiding this coming season. There are many operations just wanting to do the numbers- be warned and do a serious background check on the people responsible for your livelyhood.
