  1. Hey Warhawk, have no idea where you are, I'm guessing Saku city or nearby. Do you have a spare motorbike? just kidding. But seriously... definitely get your two wheels up to Togakushi just 30 mins north of Nagano City. Might need your help in finding a little roadie later on in the year. Cheers and welcome to the forum. from another noob.
  2. OK, no worries mate I can take a joke, just wasn't sure if you were being serious (no smilies) Truce. What size is your Travis Parker? Kumapix, malolo sounds like an interesting board, care to review it? So... the auction has been re-listed, anyone with some decent Japanese and a Yahoo Auction account wanna help me buy it? Seriously, we'd have to sort out ¥age some how. I'm touching down in Tokyo 6.30pm. will get up to old naggs sometime the same night. send me your number if you can help out. Hopefully will get to meet some of you Hakuba regulars some time during the season.
  3. OK are you taking the piss? I have no idea what an '88 Kemper looks like but I'm imagining a wedge tail with hard boots.
  4. Hey guys just looking at getting a general overview of the size of board you ride and how much you weigh. Mostly for powder riding but interested to hear your jib stick set up too. I'm 170cm tall, weigh about 63kg, riding a directional 157 for pow, and looking at getting a 152 skate banana for jibbing and possibly even ride a little powder. I was riding a 153 twin for park. EDIT: Is anyone able to help me out with an auction? I saw this banana on yahoo auctions, but don't read japanese (or google engrish) well enough to understand the finer points. I would like to know shipping d
  5. Thanks fattwins. Maybe my best option is to order online from US and A. I just got ripped off by some guy on ebay for $200... hence the hesitancy to buy online. Anyone recommend any reputable online stores that don't charge a fortune for international shipping?
  6. That'd be great KP, thanks so much for your help. I'd be looking for a 154, TRS or the 152 banana.
  7. Thanks Kumapix, damn that was quick. I'm pretty set on the skate banana. I will be bringing my own junk board, but wanted something a little more jibby and could still throw around in the powder. I rode a 156 at Mt Hotham this year, and it was just so much fun, but yeah they all sold out in Aust too. I found out LibTech are making more bananas as we speak, including a possible TRS banana. After seeing the "noboard" this looks like a lot of fun. perhaps something to improve the skills. I know I definitely rely on my equipment too much. Hey Fattwins are you the same fattwins
  8. Thanks for the link, but I'm not after large sizes. Just wondering if any locals have seen this board for sale in the shops. Would rather not order it online.
  9. Hi all I'm new here. I'm heading to Hakuba December 12th and would really like a new board. I'm flying into Tokyo but won't have time to go shopping (arrival 6.30pm) I'm hoping to buy a Lib Tech Skate Banana, anyone seen these around Nagano or Hakuba? a shop name or street where I can pick one up would be awesome. Cheers.
