  3. L_miller Have you look into the Cathay Airline Asia pass? I was thinking about getting it, it cost $1100 US 30 days unlimited travel around Asia, including flights to Sapporo, Tokyo, Osaka and other asia countries. That would save you a lot of money and time. Don't know if you can buy it in Aussie or not.. that would be a better option, but have to warn you, I brought this asia pass before, since Cathay Airline is a Hong Kong based airline, so for every country you plan to visit, you would have to first fly back to HK then to your country of your choice. Here is a link to the

  5. Hi Guys Was planning to visit Niseko, but after reading all the comment about it. I decided to go to Nagano instead, could you recommend the top three resort in Nagano? Also I'll be getting a 7 days unlimited tourist JR/bullet train pass. Is there any other pretty good snowboard mountains in around the Tokyo and Osaka area? I cam willing to travel up to 4 hours. Or any good decent price hotel to stay in Nagaano? or any good Hot spring place to vvisit, prefer natural outdoor hot springs and not the man made ones. My japanese is basic at most, not that good. Also will
  6. I would go for wireless,, its totally worth it. Setting the wireless connection up is pretty simple just follow the direction that came with your wireless router. Think and write down your password/code and secured it. Thats it, no more messy wires and you can surf the web all over your house and yard. As for security issue, it really doesn't matter as long as you setup a password code for your wireless network. If hacker want to hack onto your network, no matter what software protection you have they WILL still bypass it. Just do what I do, I never leave any important info, l
  7. Its too bad you lived in Japan. but in the states, during Thanksgiving or Xmas Eve Dell have specials. last year it was for 17in LCD monitor P4 2.6ghz 512mb 40gig dvd burner printer for $490 including shipping If you don't mind paying international shipping charges, here are several great sites to find the best price and deals on computers , home stuff and anything you can think of. http://www.slickdeals.net/ http://www.bensbargains.net/ I would stay away from celeron chips, they don't have enough cache and they are slow as a mule!

  14. I am not sure what the vietnamese name is , but my friend told me its called Russia Market. Don't think I stop by pho2000, too many good restaurant to chose from there, and so cheap.. But I did enjoy the meal I had in this outdoor place and you pick the animal you want to eat and they cook it for you.. Slow, how long were you there? I was there for 7 days, crossing the street is hella fun! Gucci tunnel? (spell?) is fun too, you get to see what the people had to hide in during the vietnam war.. and the water park was pretty cool too.
  15. Hotel is cheap, everything is cheap.. if its your first time, stop by Russia Market in Ho Chi Minh and Club Monaco is pretty cool, just watch out for the front row people, they are the mafia, I was told. Shopping is so so, but mostly all the good stuff is in Russia Market.
