I'm new here today - funnily enough a Japanese friend told me about it - so I havent seen the "old" one, but this is certainly impressive. Glad to find it.

Without wanting to tempt fate but - --- if there is enough snow, do resorts in Japan tend to open early or what? Like if the plan is for a Dec 12th opening, and they have enough snow to open on Dec 5th - do they?
