I was busy. I had meetings. I wanted to say thanks to people responding. Whats with the attitide? Anyway.... turns out, well it seems to turn out, that she was pregnant but she has had an abortion. I still don't know if it really was mine or not, but I simply don't care any more. I'm just relieved to have the thing over with and get on with my life without having to think about this. I'm surely going to be more careful not to get myself into a position like that again! Thanks for the comments of support.

Thanks for the posts me jane and everyone. Sorry for not posting, nothing much has happened. She has said again she wants nothing from me and won't take some test. Apart from feeling pretty miserable about it all, the only thing I think I can really do is try to forget it all.

I met her today. She was much calmer but insisting that it is mine (no other boyfriends in the zone) and she will not agree to taking any test. I asked her why she told me and she just said I should know. I'm not really sure what to do now. I can't force her to take a test but I want to know.

I met her at lunch today. Here's what happened. She insists that she is pregnant - and had that confirmed. Things were ok until I suggested that the baby may not be mine (I brought up the subject in the most diplomatic way possible, believe me!). She got mad and refused to take some kind of test and then stormed off. As it was in a public place and I want to be careful about things and not just explode, I let her go. Just called her now and she has agreed to meet me again on Monday.

Thanks folks I appreciate the comments. Even though I'm not sure it is mine at this stage, it is still very difficult to not think about all this and get stressed up. I'm doing my best not to though. I'm meeting her on Thursday to talk about all this. Will let you know what happens.

I DID use a condom... I don't think it was not used properly and it did not break as far as I know. Like I think I said, I don't usually sleep around at all - not that type, honestly. I've asked to meet up with her on Thursday.

Thanks folks, good to hear some feedback even on a weekend. I'd like to hear more if possible as I think things over. Would just like to say that I'm not the type to have flings (I never imagined I'd be in a situation like this) and the lady in question does not seem to be one who sleeps around and is a fairly serious type.
