kiwis working on lifts
cheeseman replied to nzski_2003's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I would have thought a nice workshop or desk would have been a better place to work than on a lift. As an aside, lifts are good places to munch and nibble on your favorite cheesy snacks. Don't you think? Just enough time for a nutritious nibble then back to the other reason you came to the mountain for. -
What makes powder desirable?

Did I mention, a nice piece of Edam is always a good companion when doing so. -
What makes powder desirable?
cheeseman replied to rach's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Powder is what the best snowboardings all about. There's nothing like riding down a slope in powder, it's just the best feeling. -
I just made my page and you OKd it very quickly thank you. It is remarkably easy to make and looks really good thank you. I have put some of my fave pics up there right now and I hope people will take a look. Maybe we can start a cheese-circle on the site where all the cheesefans can "congregate" online. Something like that. I think it's called for. Anyway, apart from the lack of cheese forums etc, nice site!

Hey, cheesefans! I have just finished making my members page complete with some fave pics to start off with. I plan to add journals later, but I need to have my dinner right now. I hope you like it, not sure what the link is if you are not me, so anyway you can just see it if you are logged in. Please do comment. Thanks Cheeseman. PS Please do feel free to add me to your Buddy lists. Maybe this will grow in to a Cheese-circle type thing. That would be fun!

Does size matter?
cheeseman replied to rach's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I'll admit it, I prefer large chunks to small dainty slices when it comes to my cheeses. -
Congratulations on the excellent and design and features. While I am a little disappointed not to see and cheese incorportated into the new design, I am sure you'll be getting round to that later. If you could maybe put a slice of cheddar or a big wedge of Edam in the top corner, it would increase the nutritional value of the site and also spell "F U N" to all who see. As you know there are lots of cheese fans on the site, and I'm sure a cheese flavor would not go amiss with them. Hey then they could enjoy winter sports and cheese right in the same place. Perfect! Do you have a

Just stand there
cheeseman replied to cal's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I've said it before, but I think the whole experience would be better if they installed a little stall at the top selling different cheese nibbles. It would make the experience so much more fun (for all). And nutritious too! -
I'm a little confused by this. You think I am someone else? Nooooo, I am just me - cheeseman. If someone wants to copy me for some strange reason (jealousy?) that's fine, but I only post here under my cheeseman handle. OK? By the way I had a wonderful piece of cheddar this morning. Very nutritious. And great fun. Nutritiously fun, you might say. Anyone else have any good cheese stories this Wednesday morning?

Well I am moved by the interest you have all shown in cheese. SJG, where's that cheese forum? Thank you. So many cheese fans - but who couldn't be when it's delicios, fun, nutritious and popular with all ages. A truly wholesomely nutritious food for all to enjoy!

Nozawa. The place I know servers a good cheese hamburg too. -
It would be ideal if there were a few cheesy icons we could use. Just imaging, if we could pick the cheese that went best with our postings. Now wouldn't that be grand.
