sorry but i dont really buy echineko. i think its the signature that gives it away. however, she represents for me all that is great about japanese women

what was going on with the particles on the reading test? how do you even learn about all that? i am talking about sections I and II on the 3rd paper (reading and grammar).
-
my verdict (3kyu): kanji/vocab = went well for me. listening test = harder than expected. reading/grammer = reading suprisingly simple, grammar really hard. I am expecting to get maybe 55% or so...

in my mind, gaijin means 'someone who is not from japan' when i was in the uk, a foriegner was 'someone who is not from the uk'. i think its the same thing. i dont have a problem using the word and i often refer to myself and others using it.

ozozoz, if you get in an accident you are not insured. might be expensive if you kill someone... -
i am not nervous about it at all. if i fail - big deal. its just a rough gauge of my ability. i`ll reckon i will go for 2kyu next year anyway regardless of whether i pass or fail 3kyu on sunday. the important thing is gauging your ability, not getting some bit of paper-unless of course you need it to get onto some course or get a job etc.

been playing guitar for about 8 or 9 years. strictly acoustic only for the last 5 years, as i have been away from home (at uni, and now in japan). it kinda sucks trying to play some heavy Hendrix or Page riff on an acoustic...

yep liverpool are out Sounds like it was a great game. I'm kinda glad I dont have wowow cos I'd have stayed up to watch it, got all excited in the 2nd half only to be anti-climaxed by the final whistle and would be knacked now. Its bad financially for us, but perhaps the lack in a champions league distraction will free us up to take the premiership finally.

cool - looking forward to the chat. will you have several rooms or just the one?

Hakuba lift status

Thanks so much, we will proceed to Hakuba in the morning! -
Today, Saturday, the HakubaNow! report says that routes 1,2,3 and a bit of 4 are open at Hakuba47. My map says that routes 1 and 4 are red (advanced), and 2 and 3 are blue (intermediate). Can anyone confirm this is true? I could probably just about handle the blue runs even with it being my first time out this season, but I am going with some newbies who have only been out a few times. I am wondering if its gonna be too difficult for us tommorow?

I dont know but I saw the blackburn defeat coming and won some nice bucks at 8-1 on blackburn to win

If you are not sure if you can fix (do) it or not, then you will worry.
