It's difficult to imagine how you even start picking up the pieces being confronted with that lot. I heard some towns even lost all records of their townfolk. Where to start?

Recently got one. The aircon itself cost about 60,000 yen. Installation/parts and all that lot cost about 20,000 yen.

Embarrassingly, I watched You've Got Mail last night. Didn't intend to but the dialup noises at the beginning got me hooked. Cheesy it is.

I have heard quite a few people say the Swiss natives aren't very friendly, bordering on being very rude. Wonder why that is.

The sight of all those houses moving in the water "as is" without being broken or smashed up made it all the more surreal and unbelievable I think.

kokodoko probably puts AC/DC and Chicago in the 'same genre'? They both use guitars, for sure. Do people still talk about 'genres' anyway?

I have been known to like some PSB (the remix version of their most recent album was fab a bit like The League Unlimited version of Dare), though they are a bit too much on the pure pop side for me. Usually like their shiny crisp production. Closer than AC/DC, but quite different to Depeche actually. Talking of League, really enjoying Credo.

Getting to like the new Human League after being wary at the beginning. In a electric pop sort of way. Probably residual love from Dara / Love & Dancing.

Still enjoying it, I think it's much better than last year so far. Lopez is better than I thought she would be as well. Was expecting Paula Abdul kind of thing.
