War Games

OK so this may or may not be possible. It may well be a stoopid question. But I'll ask anyway! At home I am updating and keeping my "important" files on a apple time capsule (so basically it's my wifi point and has a HDD). My laptop and my desktop can both access that. OK silly question time. Is there any way that I can access that when I'm not on the wifi connection? Like, when I'm overseas or just somewhere for the weekend? If so, how is that done? Don't laugh!

Could wait for 10-14 days for a Dell order, got a Toshiba Dynabook. Whether that is a good decision or not, I don't know. But it's mostly mail/web anyway so I'm sure it'll be fine. Feels nice and fast anyway. On to installing and all that faffing about.

Sadly, overnight didn't help.

Thanks for the responses. Sadly, it is a laptop. It still works, it is not dead as such, but typing has gone all very wonky making to almost as good as dead.
