spud, I have just signed up to willcom after only finding out about it on here not so long ago. http://www.snowjapanforums.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/8/5859.html It's the same kind of thing but perhaps not as fast. I'm so pleased with it though, fast enough for me. I can use 25 hours a month, any volume of data and they do a plan of totally unlimited data as well (I think). http://www.willcom-inc.com/en/service/data/index.html Highly recommended to anyone wanted to access the internet wherever they are without wires and just a small card. This is the card I hav

Just want to say thanks fjef for letting me know about this. Looks like a great service and much cheaper than anything docomo can offer. I have actually signed up and from tomorrow a lot of my on the road problems will be solved. Cheers! -
Pretty awful game I thought. If it wasn't for the over-excited commentary I'm sure thats what most people outside of Japan or Croatia would think.

On the news just now something about Seibu (Prince?) selling about 12 hotel/ski facilities in Hokkaido (and other areas) - including Niseko. Quote: Seibu Holdings Inc, a struggling transportation and resort development group, plans to sell about half of its 24 Hokkaido-based hotel and ski resort facilities as well as three facilities in Niigata Prefecture by next March, sources familiar with the matter said Wednesday. Quote: In Hokkaido, Prince Hotels is considering selling hotels and other facilities in Niseko Higashiyama, Kitahiroshima and several other locations, they said.

Remember the pdf file thread? Actually I don't mind pdfs at all. It's when a link does not tell me beforehand that it is a pdf file and my computer does all that freezing up thing for 30 seconds that I don't like.

I wash my hands and clean much more than I used to before I came here - I think this is a mix of the influence of a certain lady friend and just because I was still in "student mode" when I came here (even though I hadn't been a student for a while)

That hotel looks scary! Good tip about the pizzas though that sure sounds like a good deal -
Meatloaf was worse that bad. He was a total embarrassment. Others weren't much better either. What do they actually win apart from the status? Is it some contract or something?

It sure looks like it might be. Whatever, I think we can all agree that the hornet looks very friendly anyway. -

Illusionist David Blaine, who is spending seven-days submerged in a water-filled sphere, is to receive medical treatment. Blaine's spokesman Pat Smith said the 33-year-old's peeling skin and overall condition was worrying doctors. But he added Blaine was "determined" to complete the "human aquarium" stunt at Lincoln Center in New York. -
A Japanese company called Sunamiya has developed a gun-shaped party cracker that shoots out a teddy bear. The teddy bear would then parachute down. http://www.neatorama.com/2006/05/02/japanese-teddy-bear-gun/ It might be worth going to a wedding after all. (Well, maybe not!)

I don't think they'll go with different names in different territories either. It's just going to be called wee.
