It's very difficult Error404! We just try to take in feedback and make decisions based on what we think is best considering everything that's involved. That's all we can do really. Anyway, we will be making a fairly big update in the coming weeks and will be posting more to explain the details when that happens.

None of us have ever actually seen our server. It's in some secret mega-security bunker that needs finger print and retina scans like the ones you see on the Outer Limits*. I bet there'll be some scary security people and possibly some cool robots too. (* Hopefully without the aliens)

There's also a lot of testing involved. And switching of IPs and settings and lots of other technical stuff that I totally don't understnad.

We didn't think that from our end, but we got there in the end!

At last, we are back and up and running on our new server. Did you miss us? Miss us or not, we've been full on with this move for more than 48 hours now - major server moving is no fun. Anyway, the nightmare is now over and we can look forward to time spent in more luxurious surroundings. We are sorry for the almost two days that the Forums were closed but some quality foundations have now been laid for the future. Hello ckang008 The resort bus finished operations as of last Sunday. There is always the normal public bus from the East Exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station. Here are the times from Bus lane 1 according to the resort: 6:05am 8:20am 9:15am (Saturday/Sunday only) 10:10am 11:40am 12:50pm If you do go, do let us all know how it went!

Fantastic. That sure looks like more fun than 30 degrees and stuck behind a computer!

Gala have been planning and are apparently now seeing to fixing up what needs fixing up on that southern area with a view to opening it for 09/10. (Whether the Ropeway connecting Gala with Yuzawa Kogen will also re-open is another matter as that is operated jointly by both the resorts).

Yes Mike - consistently fantastic photos. Thank you for uploading and sharing them with us all. Many people have enjoyed (and will continue to enjoy) seeing them.
