Its probably not that bad I have hit lots of rocks from cliff drops and trees on my current board. Lots of dents in the rails still rides perfectly ok!! Think of it as magnotraction!! lol

I got a telescopic pole hiking pole near the snowboard shop in Tokyo for ￥2000. I just put some weights at the other end to counterbalance it. Works a treat and when the battery goes dead can chuck it my backpack

I thought you could bust off one those on a snowboard. I dont know how safe it would be though!!

Wow what a nightmare!! I dont get people who ride moguls i much rather save my legs for powder, side hits or park!! I avoid them as much as possible infact I go into trees to avoid them Bahaha

hey neck i rock a gropro helmet mount i use the strap provided to keep it in. I have had lots a crashes hitting trees, three or 4 somersaults riding pow and park hasnt come off yet so dont worry about losing it, i would not reccommend the sticky pads i have heard some horror stories off them coming off never to been seen again. here is a video off us filming each other with gopros throuogh trees in Myoko. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlHa2So8ns4&hd=1
