What part of Sapporo will you be in?

Nice! Will see you in the mountains (hills?) of Hokkaido. Teine was at its absolute best yesterday, deep and lots of fun with a big crew. Just heading out now to Mt Racey.

Will be heading down to Rusutsu for one day, and Sapporo Teine the next. Not sure which day where yet. You could have a few hours break from the apartment hunting for some cheeky runs up at Teine, Tubby!

The long weekend in Jan, I'll be around

Pretty toasty here. Have really enjoyed Perth, great place, weather and people! Leaving today, heading down to NZ. Then back to Hokkaido Jan 6th. Reckon I'll have some shovelling to do at home before I can park the car!

Wow, very random! I'm in Perth right now, had a great Christmas swimming, eating and enjoying the warm weather. But I am looking forward to getting back to the snow in Hokkaido! Hope everyone had a good one!

Went down to Rusutsu at the weekend. Great snow, but a little heavy after some warmer temperatures. As you can see, it still needs a bit more before all the sasa is filled in, but a good day, and the hill was totally deserted.

Naka Furano!

We were up at 'Pancake Land' aka Kamui Links the same day. Got a few shots. Awesome snow for early December.

Also, pretty much all of Kamui is open now, so you'll have more choice where to ride.

They have it set up in the summer at Hanazono in Niseko too. (Often in the winter I've seen it laid out, uninflated and covered in snow. I guess they can't use it when its snowing heavily, or windy) Here are a couple of photos of it in the summer.
