  • Hakuba Now: Thursday 13th February 2025

Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano New snowfall at base 8cm Snowfall at base this season 675cm Posted on Thursday 13th February 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here . Good morning from Hakuba. Sorry I am a bit late today, I intended to be earlier but... life. Strong winds and unfriendly weather are affecting a lot of lifts this morning. Ski/snowboards options are limited for those wishing to brave the conditions. I imagine many are opting for an onsen or alternative things to do. It's one of those days. This particular snowfall is probably not going to last beyond today and hopefully tomorrow will be less windy too. On Saturday we might get some clearer skies though we will be getting more snow again early next week. -------------------------------- ABLE Hakuba Goryu New snowfall (as reported by the ski area): Top: 15cm Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): Top: 495cm Top: 230cm ------------ Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park New snowfall (reported as 'todays snowfall' by the ski area): Top: 15cm Base: 10cm Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): Top: 490cm Base: 250cm ------------ Hakuba Cortina New snowfall (reported by the ski area): 10cm Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): 460cm ------------ Hakuba Happo-one New snowfall (as reported by the ski area): Kurobushi (1680m): ?cm Usagidaira (1400m): 15cm Nakiyama (800m): 10cm Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): Kurobushi (1680m): ?cm Usagidaira (1400m): 334cm Nakiyama (800m): 220cm ------------ Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field New snowfall (reported by the ski area): Mountain Side: 5cm Village Side: 5cm Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): Mountain Side: 380cm Village Side: 190cm ------------ Hakuba Norikura Onsen Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): 470cm ------------ Jigatake New snowfall (reported by the ski area): 5cm Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): 230cm ------------ Kashimayari Skijo Family Park Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): 245cm ------------ Tsugaike Mountain Resort Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): Upper: 376cm Base: 173cm ------------ White Resort Hakuba Sanosaka Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area): 250cm Hakuba Now 2024-2025 season Data as Thursday 13th February 2025 Total snowfall at base so far 675cm Number of days snowfall observed at base 54 days Most snowfall observed in 1 day 38cm (28th December) November 2024 snowfall 42cm reported on 3 days December 2024 snowfall 278cm reported on 21 days January 2025 snowfall 235cm reported on 19 days February 2025 snowfall 120cm reported on 11 days Previous report Next report All snowfall data presented on this page is the snowfall measured and observed at base/town level by our reporter based in Hakuba. • Furano Now: Thursday 13th February 2025

Independent snow and weather reporting from the Furano region of Hokkaido New snowfall at base 11cm Snowfall at base this season 410cm Posted on Thursday 13th February 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here . Good Morning Skiers & Boarders, An interesting morning here slopeside in Furano. Yesterday afternoon was just above freezing, and the snow fell mixed with r@!n which produced a very intriguing texture, kind of sherbety or soft-ice crunchy. It's eminently packable; you could make any type of snowman you desire today. Definitely not a day to look for pow-pow, unless you're into unique snow textures and want to practice so that you are the quintissential all-around skier/boarder. Anyway, the snow is supposed to continue all day today and the two days following that. The weather report has a heavy snow advisory out for the whole period. Awesome. Surely with all that computer modeling, something good will result. Happy to report that the Midwinter Beer Party was a great time last night. Think snow. It's working. * Furano Zone Lift B (aka Furano Quad) is closed for the season due to mechanical failure. New braking mechanism must be fabricated.** Furano Zone: All except Lift B.
