Another good 30cm of snowfall since yesterday and it continues this morning. And still windy.
It is due to ease off today, though, and maybe some sun coming up tomorrow... though snow due again on Thursday. Beyond that, perhaps calmer and more generally clearer skies are coming through the weekend.
Today is a national holiday in Japan and normally would be busier than a normal weekday. Whether people want to be here in these weather conditions is another matter.
Scheduled ski area operations:
All courses should be open though there may be some restriction
Tree run courses open: All apart from Rookie 1, Rookie 2 and Extreme
Official snow depth (reported by the ski area):
380cm (top)
270cm (base)
Cumulative snowfall this season (reported by the ski area):
1782cm
Other information:
Night skiing is scheduled for weekends and holidays through 24th February 2025.
The Number 2 Gondola is scheduled to normally only operate on weekends and holidays.
