Good morning from Madarao.


Today is 'National Foundation Day' and a national holiday in Japan.


We've had more good snowfall overnight and up to nearly 30cm since yesterday morning.


Poor visibility at the start of the day today but the snow should be easing off sometime today and weather conditions getting more friendly.


We might be treated to some sun tomorrow morning.


More snow after that into Thursday, but generally it looks like things might be getting milder with less snow over the coming week.


Madarao Mountain Resort


- Fresh snowfall reported by the ski area: 20cm

- Official snow depth: 330cm

- All scheduled lifts should be operating

- Tree run courses open: All open

- Night skiing on 22nd-23rd February 2025 (Number 1 and Number 2 quad lifts until 8:50pm)
