Again, perhaps not quite as much snow as we were expecting yesterday.

I think we were expecting more snow than we got yesterday - it didn't really happen during the daytime.

Yesterday was... wet.

By night time yesterday there was 7cm of snowfall (since the morning report) and there is an additional 14cm to add to that this morning. So, 21cm since yesterdays report.

So it was snowing for a lot of yesterday but in the afternoon there was actually a period of some clearer skies.

By late morning yesterday the skies were overcast and unfortunately we did then get rained on. It was trying to snow the higher you got and by night time it had turned into snow down in town.

Loads of fresh snowfall to report once again! Perhaps even more than we expected.

Yesterday we did get continued snowfall during the day, though there was only 5cm of fresh to measure by evening.

Happily we can quickly erase the memory of rain yesterday morning because it turned into snow and by evening there was up to around 5cm on the ground.

We start the month with snow-loaded tree branches, lots of fresh snow everywhere and the sun shining down on us. It's a beautiful morning.

Yesterday while it was snowing for a large part towards the end of the day there were some clearer skies.

For a while there yesterday it felt like we might miss out on the heavy snow, but it started snowing mid to late morning and by evening there was just over 30cm of it to clear.

The weather this morning so far has been kind of confusing and rather changeable.

This morning it is an all round grey and cloudy start to the day with something of a damp feel with spots of rain in places.
