We had snow on and off during the day yesterday and after more fairly heavy snow overnight, I just measured another 19cm.

Perhaps in the general tradition of the 23-24 season, what actually happened yesterday and overnight wasn't quite what the forecasts told us to expect.

OK, so it was raining, but it has turned to snow and we already have up to 2cm in places as of 7:30am.

We have some fresh snow on the ground this morning - around 5-10cm in town areas so hopefully a bit more than that higher up. Nice.

It's a cloudy start to the day and that is pretty much what is expected for the day.

Yesterday ended up fairly mild, with clouds gradually forming from the morning and leaving us with cloudy cover again later in the afternoon.

It was great to get that snow yesterday and there was more of it during the morning.
