Today is the last day of the snow season at Kagura.

And the news is in... Kagura has announced that Sunday 22nd May will be the last day of the season.

The sun is out again this morning and it's a mix of cloud and blue sky up there to start the day.

We had to put up with lots of rain yesterday, very heavy at times as well.

It was lovely weather yesterday morning, with it almost feeling borderline 'hot' at times rising to a fair bit beyond 20 degrees.

The sun is out and there is lots of blue sky this morning. Just a bit of cloud here and there and already a warm 18C degrees here in town.

Sadly it did start to rain in the afternoon yesterday and while it was on and off at times, heavy rain was falling later on last night.

Some rain lingering this morning but it's due to be a fine day with sunshine though temperatures not getting much higher than about 10 degrees - which is what it is now.

After the snow up high mentioned in my report yesterday, it's an even better one this morning.

I heard a bit of rain falling on the roof late last night and it was drizzly earlier on but right now it's just cloudy

Yesterday we ended up with (wet) snow falling on the mountains with both Kagura and Maiko Snow Resort are reporting 5-10cm of fresh snow since yesterday.
