Yesterday at one point there were almost clear blue skies over the region - somehow it had turned into a beautiful day. Better than rain for sure.

It's good to see some white again. Not a huge amount - just under 5cm outside here - but there will be more on the mountains. Kagura resort are reporting 10-15cm of fresh.

Good morning, and things remain generally a bit wet this morning with temperatures somewhere about the same as well... dropping to about 5C overnight

It's a mostly cloudy morning here, and dry too. Overnight temperatures dropped to just under zero but today it highs of around 9C expected.

Kagura this morning are reporting 10-20cm of fresh snow on their upper areas which is great to hear.
