Not much different to report this morning from Shiga Kogen.

The snow started up again, as did the winds, and this morning I have about 20-25cm of fresh snow to report from Shiga Kogen.

Some 'wetness' yesterday... I can't bring myself to say the word... but a return to colder temps this morning and some snowfall as well, though it has stopped snowing now.

It is of course the last day of February and as they say here, spring from tomorrow. Not sure I agree with that, probably because I don't want spring to come and the fact that parts of Shiga Kogen open through until the end of May.

A cloudy morning and less wind after that somewhat stormy weekend.

Pretty wild conditions here this morning with snow coming down and strong winds. The strong winds mean that it's limited operations out there.

'Tappuri' new snow, as they say. More fresh light dry snow has fallen overnight. But what's this?

We did see the snow ease off yesterday. This morning is bright, lots of cloud around, but also more and more blue sky appearing as time marches on.

It is a very good morning from Shiga Kogen. Snow, and a good amount of it. Difficult to put a number, but I would say 20cm or so.

We got another 5cm or so out of yesterday, but this morning while it is actually colder than yesterday, the sun is shining down over the Maruike area where I am writing this report from.

Ah nice and cold again this morning. We can save mild and warm until May, for now we want cold!

A mild start to the day here in Shiga Kogen. The snow did clear up yesterday and all told we just have a thin layer of snow since the report posted yesterday

It's another cold start to the day, and snow is still falling. But it's not the crazy windy white-out that we had yesterday.
