Good morning from Shiga Kogen. It's still snowing!

Blizzard out there as I write this. Can't see much of anything at all.

About 10cm of snow overnight and light snow now falling, though I think it should be a case of on/off for the day today.

After the storm, some well-earned clearer skies and calmer weather!

It's been mad this last day or so. I am hearing of over 1m of snowfall in places.

It's a full on snow storm at the moment.

Yesterday the sun was out and it felt somewhat unseasonably warm.

Yesterday the clouds cleared up during the day leaving us with some fine weather in the afternoon.

The snow clouds are still with us, but might be taking a break from later today and tomorrow... only to be back on the last few days of the year.

27cm of fresh snow - excellent quality too, I might add. It hasn't been too windy which is definitely a plus. It's very cold.

About 15cm of snow up until now and it's coming down nicely at the moment, though the rate depends on where you are.

This morning there's some varied conditions. In some places the sun is trying to break through but in others it remains cloudy with light snow.

There was some light snow overnight, nothing major, and it seems to be clearing up gradually and getting brighter. We're on for some sun I think.

Well, it's good to see some snow falling again this morning and it feeling colder after that much milder day yesterday.
