Greetings.
There was some light snow overnight, nothing major, and it seems to be clearing up gradually and getting brighter. We're on for some sun I think.
It appears that the only area of Shiga Kogen not at least part open now is Hasuike and their lift plans to be open from Saturday. Terakoya open from today. Not all lifts are running yet, but it's getting that most areas are now skiable.
From now in the list I will only mention the larger areas. As regular readers will know, the snow depth numbers in Shiga Kogen don't really move much - even after some heavy snow. So pinches of salt please, but I'd feel odd not having at least some of them in the report. The most important number is the ongoing fresh snow. And by the way we should be getting quite a lot of that at the weekend.
