Fine weather yesterday and relatively mild with it too. Some light snow overnight but for the moment it's just cloudy with a bit of a foggy feel in places.

Shiga Kogen is a wide area, of course, so you can get quite different weather happening at the same time in different areas.

Heavy snow is coming down right now. Windy. A bit wild again. Cold. Snowdrifts, so varying amounts in different places.

We're back to snow again this morning after the clearer skies of yesterday. It looks like it started up not too long ago.

This morning we get another does of fine weather before the next snow moves in tomorrow.

Hello from Shiga Kogen. Snow, snow, snow!

Morning from Shiga Kogen. The snow is back and it's falling at a fair pace just now after just lighter snow earlier.

After all that snow yesterday, it's curious to see Kumanoyu reporting 0cm. It did continue it's still snowing, though things are gradually calming down.

Phew, I am able to get to the computer at last. It has been pretty crazy since yesterday.

An unexpected bright and even sunny at times early morning and not as much snow to report as was expected.

We're back to the winter storm like conditions. It's snowing, visibility is limited in places and close to zero in others, and it feels quite windy.

There were more clouds around very early on but they have mostly gone leaving us with some sun and a real feel-good morning.

Yesterday we had a break and some nice weather actually but this morning we're back to pretty wild conditions again.

The storm has passed and it is going to be a much calmer and clearer day.
