Good morning from Niseko on this official last day of the 2022-2023 season at Niseko Grand Hirafu, Sunday 7th May 2023.

It's the last weekend of the season!

Today is the last day of the season at Niseko Annupuri ski area.

A fair amount of cloud around this morning, but I'd say it was fairly decent weather. We might get some rain showers at time over the weekend.

Unfortunately, Annupuri has been closed today due to the weather conditions (wind). Hirafu has been open, though with the gondola on low speed setting.

Fine and/but hazy probably best describes the weather this morning. It's certainly bright.

It's not great weather this morning with a lot of fog around as well as the rain, and some wind too.

It's another mix of cloud and blue sky this morning.

It's not the most appealing of mornings with some spots of rain.

We have had some changeable conditions already this morning.

We have received a little more snow yesterday and it is a pleasant early morning.

Hey, I have some fresh snow to report! Yes, indeed.

After lift disruption and rubbish weather yesterday, lifts should should be back to normal this morning and conditions should be more pleasant.

We had a nice start yesterday but it's a much gloomier start to this Friday morning. First up, it's raining. Not great.
