Lovely morning. The sun is out and there are bright blue skies above with just a few clouds here and there early on. Beautiful.

Lots of fresh snow to report. We're really getting some decent snow coming in now; due to ease off later on.

No more fresh this morning and things are calmer. We might even get some sunshine today and relatively mild conditions... but, there's more snow beyond that.

We are on for some heavy snowfall this weekend. It is snowing and not a huge amount yet until now, but some serious dumpage is due over the next 24+ hours.

It was snowing through the day yesterday and this morning there's 14cm of fresh measured at base. Perhaps expecting a bigger number than that, but that's what it is (wind affected?).

Another near on 25cm of fresh snow this morning which is good to see after that sunny day yesterday. And something of a change too.

After the day of snow clouds yesterday, it's lovely and sunny and for the most part clear this morning.

Snow continues and there is another 35cm on the ground - and it is still coming down giving us limited visibility.

Strong winds mean that the Dragondola is closed this morning (as is the Tashiro Area of the Kagura resort), but Naeba is mostly open as normal including the top area.

It has been a busy day. Staring off with lots of fresh snow on the ground - 29cm of it - and sunshine but clouding over this afternoon.

Snow is falling all around us. Children playing, having fun. It's the season for skiing and snowboarding.

Maybe not exactly what we were expecting but we have been enjoying sunshine this morning.
