Snowfall at base this season 382cm
Posted on Wednesday 16th January 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here.
Good morning from Naeba.
A return to snow after that dry spell. 14cm of fresh snowfall on the ground and snow continuing to fall this morning. There is a bit of wind making it feel perhaps colder than it actually is but conditions should be pretty good this morning. More snow is lined up there on the forecasts on/off through the weekend so hopefully we will be on the receiving end of regular refreshes.
Limited visibility on the mountain this morning, but we want that fresh snow so bring it on I say.
Official snow depth:
- 180cm
All lifts plan to be operating apart from the following (subject to weather):
- Prince Number 1 Gondola
- Number 8 high speed lift
- Daishamen romance pair lift
All courses now open apart from the following:
- Splash Bowl
Planned night-time operations:
- Daily until Sunday 24th March 2019
- 4:00pm until 8:30pm
- Courses open: Number 5
- Lifts operating: Number 5 high speed lift
