Good morning - just about! - from Naeba.

Maybe not exactly what we were expecting but we have been enjoying sunshine this morning. There is more cloud arriving now as we approach the middle of the day and indeed snow is forecast before the end of today and tomorrow. So I hope to be bringing you news of that tomorrow morning.

Top is open, Dragondola doing its thing. A good day to be here. Fresh tonight please.

There is a Niigata Prefecture Junior High School event being held by one of the base courses in front of the Prince hotel and so part is closed off to the general public.
