Good morning from Naeba.
10+cm of snow on the ground this morning after that fine day yesterday.
Strong winds are affecting the upper Takenokoyama top lift though but other areas should be open as normal.
From tomorrow, we are going to be enjoying a 'long weekend' due to Monday being a national holiday in Japan. And the weather looks set to be pretty calm and also very probably pretty in the sunshine too. A mix of sun/cloud is forecast for the long weekend.
After the long weekend, the next snow is due soon after maybe around Tuesday.
Official snow depth:
- 180cm
All lifts plan to be operating apart from the following (subject to weather):
- Prince Number 1 Gondola
- Number 4 high speed lift
- Number 8 high speed lift
- Daishamen romance pair lift
- Number 2 high speed lift
All courses now open apart from the following:
- Splash Bowl
Planned night-time operations:
- Daily until Sunday 24th March 2019
- 4:00pm until 8:30pm
- Courses open: Number 4 and 5
- Lifts operating: Number 5 high speed lift
