A couple of cm since yesterday here in Naeba, and both Naeba and Kagura telling us that there has been up to 5cm on the slopes.

Just a bit of snow to report this morning and up to 5cm on the slopes. The less said about yesterday the better as we did get a bit wet, with wet snow falling in higher areas.

This morning Kagura say they got another 50cm. I'm not up there to confirm that with my own eyes, but I'll go with it.

Kagura is proudly reporting 40-50cm of fresh white fluffy stuff this morning. Hurray!

Snow indeed for lots of yesterday but it was only light snow and didn't pile up in the way that brings us lots of new cm to report.

It was a sort of fine day yesterday with a kind of overcast feel to the day.

Brilliant conditions on the slopes - and slightly off them as well - yesterday.

20-30cm of snowfall is the headline this morning. And under-report I reckon up there. Not much of a wind and the snow coming down in style as I write this here in Naeba.

A very good start to the three day weekend here in Naeba.

Perhaps not as much snow as we were hoping for, around 5cm here at Naeba base and both Naeba and Kagura reporting 10cm of fresh snow on the slopes.

Last night the forecast said we could perhaps expect up to 15cm of snow overnight and before 9am this morning.

A few cm of fresh snow here in Naeba (up to 5 on the mountain) and 5-10cm being reported by Kagura this morning.

I got rained on for a bit yesterday but the less I think about the better. We don't like the R word, it should not be part of what happens between December and April.

There's not much to report this morning other than it is a lovely blue sky start to the day.
