What a weekend this is turning out to be.

This morning Kagura say they got another 50cm. I'm not up there to confirm that with my own eyes, but I'll go with it. So, added to the 40-50cm from yesterday, I make that up to 1m in the last 2 days. That's impressive. What's more.... it's all going to be open! Get on up there, it's going to be renamed Paradise today I reckon. OK, so that might be cheesy, but you know what I'm getting at. That official snow depth curiously is not moving again today. I always get the feeling that Kagura don't want that number to rise above 4m. (Watch it do that by tomorrow, now I have said that!)

Here at base in Naeba, it's more like 15cm on the ground, though the resort is reporting 20cm. Still, a nice new layer of snow to add to what we got yesterday and so conditions are good.

It is still snowing early on this morning but the forecast tells us to expect conditions to clear up, it might even end up sunny by this afternoon.
