I sort of got sidetracked in my report yesterday; I was looking at the increases in snowpack at the resorts, and forgot to go back and warn that lift closures were likely due to the wind.

Wind and snow overnight, so lots of drifting; dense, wind-affected snow; mini tornadoes coming off my neighbor's roof.

We have some nice snow falling in Myoko this morning, and that wind is coming right out of the north.

A bit more snow overnight, and I mean just a bit. Welcome, of course, but I'd love to have a real Myoko snowstorm at least once this season.

It's snowing again today, thank goodness, although not a lot has fallen.
