Spring is really being shy this year. No complaints!

Snow is still falling in Myoko, even as some of the areas are closing.

Snow continued through most of the day yesterday in Myoko; not a whole lot of new fresh at the end of the day.

Real snow this morning. Enough to make it pretty fun out there.

It's sunny with a little cover of fresh, which we will very generously call 1cm.

Happily (once again) the rain turned to snow; once again the Niigata snow report is right on the money at 6cm.

Sunny again today, but with the high haze/thin clouds we often see on sunny days.

Very light snow is falling, and the sun is intermittently shining.

That nice weather yesterday did indeed turn to snow later in the day. Just as the Niigata Prefecture forecast called it, we got about 15cm of pretty wet snow, but nice all the same.

Powder! Yes, that March snow has come again, just when a lot of people have left the country (and the Japanese start getting distracted by the cherry blossoms starting to come up from the south and west. It's not spring yet!).

The official snow report from Niigata has regained our trust and support today.

It's almost perfect out today; nearly 30cm of fresh snow overnight on top of what we got through the day yesterday, the clouds lifting to let the sun in; a forecast that says more snow ahead.

The snow is back, and a little more than the prefecture's forecast of 10cm.

Just like the forecasts said, it's snowing today.
