New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 1450cm

It's sunny with a little cover of fresh, which we will very generously call 1cm. Could be more up high, as Suginohara added 5cm to their total. Snow stays on the forecast as well. That's not always great this time of year, as I found out yesterday. Fresh this time of year can be pretty sticky, definitely heavy and doesn't make for fast, smooth skiing. The good thing is that we haven't had a lot of either wind or rain, so the snowpack is holding on strong. Good news for spring skiing as the pack does settle and the warm winds blow. Just not this week.
