Myoko Now: Tuesday 3rd May 2016
Time to close out the season.... which sort of petered out there at the end without me actually knowing when our last operating resort (Seki Onsen) finally gave up.
Myoko Now: Monday 11th April 2016
We're down to one running area (I think; can't tell from Seki's website or blog), so not only are we at the end of one phase, but one big change today.
Myoko Now: Saturday 2nd April 2016
No report from the town, as we enter really the last weekend of the season.
Myoko Now: Saturday 26th March 2016
An early report today, because there's a race up on the hill and I will be sitting by a gate making sure everything is OK...
Myoko Now: Friday 25th March 2016
Nature has a way of surprising us, doesn't it?
Myoko Now: Monday 21st March 2016
Things are a bit nicer today than yesterday; there is still some fog (which looks to be clearing), and a light dusting of new snow, instead of the rain.
Myoko Now: Tuesday 15th March 2016
Woke up this morning to the sound of snow sliding off the roof. Snow!
Myoko Now: Monday 14th March 2016
Woke up to some fresh, if very wet, snow. It's still coming down, light but steady, although it's piling up as slush rather than snow at our location here (about 670 meters, just below Akakan).
Myoko Now: Saturday 12th March 2016
Not a lot of fresh snow on the ground this morning, maybe three cm, but it is a nice day out there!
Myoko Now: Friday 11th March 2016
The morning was, to be nice, non-descript. It even rained a bit in the Arai area of town.
Myoko Now: Thursday 10th March 2016
Not much snow overnight - I'll be generous and say we had 2cm - but it has started up again in the last few minutes.
Myoko Now: Wednesday 2nd March 2016
The sun is out, mostly, this morning with a few flakes drifting down from time to time.
Myoko Now: Tuesday 1st March 2016
A great start to March, with 60cm of snow on the ground (hard to tell, really, as there was a lot of wind involved through the night).
Myoko Now: Monday 29th February 2016
The day started with high winds during the night, and moved into (ugh) rain earlier.
