New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 805cm

Not much snow overnight - I'll be generous and say we had 2cm - but it has started up again in the last few minutes.

I notice that some of the ski areas are showing +10cm or so, so perhaps there was more snow higher up during the day.

It was coming down pretty hard during the Yama no Kami (mountain god) ceremony yesterday mid-slope at Akakura Kanko. Maybe a good sign for the rest of the season... at least, as all the local dignitaries there said, it wasn't raining.
