Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 809cm

Posted on Saturday 12th March 2016 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

Not a lot of fresh snow on the ground this morning, maybe three cm, but it is a nice day out there!

Sunny, not too hot, white trees up on the hill.... could be a lot worse!

We might get some more, especially tomorrow, but that's going to be it for a while. It is going to be warm from Wednesday, with that freezing line going way up. Again.

Let's just get out there, and enjoy what we can during this strange year.
