Well, well, well! Here we are at this late stage and there has been some fresh snowfall... even down to base!

It's April and a beautiful start to the month, with more of the same still forecast over the next few days - possibly until Tuesday.

It's the last day of March. April tomorrow. Blimey, winter really comes and goes so very quickly. It's just not fair!

It's not a particularly inspiring morning.

Good morning from Hakuba. Hey, it's snowing!

When I woke up this morning it was raining.

It has got to be a quick report today. We have fresh snow (see ski area numbers below). Slightly under 10cm outside my place. Nice.

Hakuba Cortina is once again reporting the most fresh snow, with 20-25cm at the top.

Yesterday remained grey for pretty much all of the day.

The clouds remained yesterday with a little new snow up there, at least where I was (Happo-one).

The most exciting headline this morning is 60+cm of snowfall reported from over at Hakuba Cortina.

Ahhh, fresh snow. Don't you just love it. It's a relief after rain too!

It seems like it is one of those days when the northern areas have got more snow than others.

We got us some snow clouds over us this morning with limited visibility out there.
